The Inner Circle
Develop your literary voice in a
supportive writing community
An Exclusive Writing Community
Attention writers who are serious about craft and done doing it alone! Consider joining The Inner Circle— to gain support, encouragement, and motivation in a small, intimate, exclusive writing community.
An evolution of Lynne Golodner’s popular Writers Community, The Inner Circle is a selective group of serious writers who want to move forward in their craft and are eager to find the community that will help them do so.
Writing can be an isolating practice. Not only is it an art often pursued alone, writing often invites self-doubt, which can erode the motivation to keep going!
In The Inner Circle, you’ll find friends and accountability partners while developing your talent and voice. You’ll also hear from successful published authors about what it takes to make your writing dreams come true.
What Participants Say
“Lynne’s writers community gave me friendships and motivation and helped me find my voice.”
“This program has been life-changing… I finally found some focus.”
“This community brought me back [to my writing] with people who understand and hold me accountable.”
How It Works
What:
The Inner Circle is small & exclusive—never more than 15 writers—for people who are serious about writing and getting published.
Monthly sessions include craft and technique discussions along with time to write in community, either on existing projects or to provided prompts.
When:
We’ll meet in monthly 120-minute live sessions (Wednesdays, 3-5 pm ET) to focus on a specific element of writing and publishing while growing closer as a community. Quarterly, participants may submit one short piece of writing (max 8 pages) for written feedback.
Why:
Submitting writing quarterly gives participants time to work on a piece of quality writing that is publication-ready by the end of this program! You’ll take your time reviewing what you learn, gaining new skills and approaches, and streamlining your ideas into high-quality, original, literary work.

FAQ
That’s OK! Each session is recorded, so if you’re registered and cannot attend live, you’ll have the recording to watch at your leisure.
All genres are welcome in The Inner Circle, though quarterly submissions will be limited to 3,000 words of prose (or 3 poems/flash) per person.
Sure! If there is a spot open, participants are welcome to register for single sessions. However, if the program is full, then you’d be added to a waitlist. Please note that Lynne Golodner’s programs always sell out. Due to the intimate nature of this small cohort, it’s likely that there will not be spots available.
If you miss the submission deadline, unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until the next cycle to submit your writing for feedback.
The discounted pricing is special for writers who commit up front to attend all sessions. And, there may not be the option to take a full-year seat at a later date if the program is full. However, if you’ve been a steady member of The Writers Community, or a dedicated participant in Lynne’s other programs, then she may make an exception and allow discounted full-year pricing should a spot be open when you change your mind.
Given the intimate nature of this program, there are no refunds once a writer commits. However, if another writer can fill your vacated spot, there may be a possibility for a refund of half the tuition that remains unused.
That’s great that you’re eager to submit work frequently! Lynne Golodner offers coaching and editing packages, with a 10% discount offered to Inner Circle members.
